G Plan Wardrobe

1950's G Plan/E Gomme tola Gentlemans wardrobe finished in tola with newly painted drawer and door panels. The body stands on a black floating leg frame with brass fittings. Two of the top finishing caps are missing from the legs though these are located at the back to not immediately noticable. The wardrobe is in good condition with general signs of age/use. The body has been stripped and Danish oiled to provide a soft sheen waterproof finish that brings out the warm tones of the tola (an African hardwood similar to teak but with a richer tone and closer grain pattern). There are some scratch/wear marks on the top surface as per the photos and a little cracking to the black painted legs but otherwise in lovely condition. Please see photos for the best description and any marks.

very solid very sturdy and very big 3 sliding door wardrobe, very deep and holds a hell of a lot of storage, has 2 rails and shelves and the middle section has equal storage space, i have at present got the 2 rails up one end and all the shelves in the other, but this can be changed to suit!!! there is a slight chip on the top of the right door, which goes unnoticed when door is shut..barely noticable..other pic shows it, but nothing major atall, the item has yet to be dismantled, and would like the buyer to collect and dismantle (with help) so they are aware of where everything goes to put it back together again!

selling due to house move and wont have the room for it, which is a shame as it looks great, holds all of my clothing and shoes and is a fantastic wardrobe!!

Fireplace Dimensions

It is in very good used condition and dates to around the 1980's.

It stands 14.75 inches tall at the centre and the base is 15 inches long x 7 inches wide with the feet sticking out a further 2 inches either side.

This is solid pine and is a good sturdy country style piece of furniture.
